This app collects nothing. It does not even hold the permission to connect to the internet, so it could not send data anywhere even if it wanted to. Everything you write stays on your phone.

What data is collected
None.
The app does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. It uses no analytics, shows no advertising, contains no third-party components that gather information, and requires no account.
Where your reminders live
The reminders you create – the text, the time, the chosen sound, the spoken word if any – are stored in a local database inside the app’s private storage on your device. They never leave your phone.
Uninstalling the app deletes them. You can also remove them at any time by deleting individual reminders in the app, or by clearing the app’s data from Android’s system settings.
Permissions and why they are needed
- Notifications – to show the reminder text on screen, including on the lock screen.
- Alarms and reminders (exact alarms) – to sound the gong at the exact time you chose. Without it, the system may delay the reminder by several minutes.
- Start at boot – to reschedule your reminders after the phone restarts, so they do not silently disappear.
- Vibration and wake lock – for the short vibration and to surface the notification at the right moment.
The app does not request access to location, contacts, camera, microphone, files or the internet.
The voice
When a reminder speaks a word, the app uses the text-to-speech engine already installed on your Android device. Depending on your phone’s configuration that engine may be a Google service, in which case that service’s own terms apply; the app has no control over it. The app itself transmits nothing.
Children
The app is not directed specifically at children, and it collects no data from anyone, children included.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects any of the above, I will update this page and the date at the top.
